I had a company email me to help them promote their photography related competition - however, I'm getting a bit more weary [and tired of] copyright statements without limitation... I understand that companies need to cover themselves for use during competition promotion periods, and that they want to use some of the images from the competition for a limited time, too... but this statement [below] says to me "we don't want your copyright, but we want everything else, forever" Am I missing something? "7.Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of, and effective immediately upon entering the image(s) in thecompetition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to The Brewers ofEurope and their member associations as listed on The Brewers of Europe website to feature any orall of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional and communications material at any time in the future"
No end date, No 'for the duration of the competition statement'
