Received my Think Tank Photo Urban Disguise 60 today... I've been using a Crumpler laptop bag and I've been carrying my 5DMkII / Grip and a 24-70L f/2.8 in to work with me each day - just incase, you know... Well, I've filled out my Think Tank Photo family and now have a bag for literally, every occassion...
With plenty of room for a 17" MacBook Pro laptop and a Canon 5DMkII with the battery grip and a 24-70mm f/2.8L lens with the hood in place, or indeed, as in this image, my Canon 30D with battery grip and a 100-400mm f.4.5-5.7L with the hood reversed, plus a 50mm f/1.4 and a 580EXII flash that I've just realised you can't actually see in any of the shots... There's more than enough room for my regular lenses and laptop and body....[more]
The Urban Disguise is comfortable on the shoulder with the ultra padded strap that adjust back and forth to fit your body just right (I have read a blog recently that said it wasn't adjustable, but it is to a degree) The zippers and materials are all top quality, the buckles and clips are hard core...
A little bit thinner, you can see the Retrospective 20 nuzzling up to the UD60 - Different obviously in that the UD60 takes my laptop where the Retrospective 20 [ in Pinestone] doesn't... You can see the space that the UD60 offers, above.
With room for paper work and a business card in the back, and with more zippy pockets than you can poke a memory card at (Oh, it comes with a PeeWeePocketRocket, too) the Urban Disguise is a great business tool for those that combine work and pleasure or are shooters that always need to be connected - there two main pockets are lockable and the two front pockets under the flap will hold a Pro Sized dSLR with the lens off, or a baby kitten - which ever you choose.
If you need to carry a Laptop and your camera gear.. I'd suggest you take a look at the Urban Disguise series of Think Tank Photo bags - Either here if you're in the UK or, if you're a brother from another mother over the ocean in the US of A, check them out here... In Australia, you will have to fend for your good self... (Contact me, I'll advise you)
