30 Days of Music that changed my world | Day Three

This track doesn't take me anywhere but away... Back to the pit at Roundhouse (I was most fortunate to photograph Lamb for their live recording and maybe even a photo made it into the cover?) Lamb are Lou Rhodes, Andy Barlow and Jon Thorne when I saw them last... they have been known to play with others, including Icelandic guitarist Oddur Mar Runnarson, and Danish drummer Nikolaj Bjerre. London-based string trio Chi 2 Strings and trumpet player Kevin Davy have been seen in there, too... Let it take you somewhere... (but first, buy their new album please! -- http://amzn.to/lSwTyN )

Gary Numan at the Forum in Melbourne

PLEASURE PRINCIPLE AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND TOUR 2011 (supported brilliantly by Severed Heads, who I sadly didn't shoot) All images are available for fans (only) to purchase. Please email me with the image number you're after simon@gtvone.com

Another cracking performance by Gary Numan (Who I was really nervous to meet before the show whilst he was signing some vinyl - so wanted to grab one!) was very excited to be shooting him. Also got to meet a brilliant photographer, John Raptis, who shared the pit with me, and Mary (The Dynamic Duo!) was in there too, great to meet you both.

Here's a couple of images, the rest are in this album here...

All images are © Simon Pollock, who is not mean and nasty, doesn't charge a fortune, but would like you to email him rather than steal the photos for your facebook, please -> simon@gtvone.com

30 Days of Music that changed my world | Day One

Day One | Little Lies, Fleetwood Mac Inspired by  a lovely friend of mine, Nat-a-Maniac! I've decided to share 30 songs in 30 days that have had some emotional impact on me in my 36.6 years of life. Music really does have power to place you somewhere, to put you in or take you out of a mood. The first song I'm going to share is by Fleetwood Mac. Formed in 1967 ( I won't bore you, but here's some history)

The song I'm going to start with (No, not Dreams, though I do love it) is Little Lies, Christine McVie wrote this with her husband Eddy Quintela.

McVie: "The idea of the lyric is: If I had the chance, I'd do it differently next time. But since I can't, just carry on lying to me and I'll believe, even though I know you're lying."
