SD cards either work or they don’t, they’re either fast or they’re slow.
I’ve been using the ProGrade SD cards since they arrived on the market, and here’s a quick look at how they work for me.
This is what BlackMagicDesign Disk Speed Test says…
My 128gb V90 U3 XC II ProGrade SD card
My 64gb V60 U3 XC II ProGrade SD Card
So they pretty much do what they say on the tin, sp to speak… The V90 card, rated at 250 MB/s comes in at about 246.6MB/s and the V60 card, rated at 200MB/s comes in at about 192.3 - This is while connected to a 5K iMac via USB-C (TB3) to the ProGrade Digital card reader.
Real world? THey’re plenty fast enough to shoot kids sports (soccer) on continuous high frame rate, uncompressed raw in my Sony a7Rmk3 and a7Mk3 cameras, or to shoot 4K video.
You can get the stuff in this post via the links below (They’re AMazon links and i’m set to make about 35 cents, for which I’m truly grateful)

Side note, I don’t think this is the ‘latest and greatest’ that ProGrade do, but it’s great gear that I’ve been using for a long time, so I thought I’d share it with you.
