A DigitalRev kind of Christmas…

Grrrrr, by Ricoh!
The Ricoh GRIII arrived from the guys at DigitalRev.com today. I have it to review, I’m going to check out the Canon S90 as well… I have to say, having owned Canon IXUS compacts since I purchased my first in 1999, A Canon A5 .9MP Camera, that changing to the Ricoh with the different interface / controls / layout is tricky, but should only take a week. I also have to say that immediately, the picture quality WALKS over anything I have had as far as a compact is concerned… More on this later, for now, Here’s an old picture of the Ricoh GRIII

Why? What makes them different? ….I’ve been using them since about 2001 and have not had one bad experience. When they say they’ll credit any duty back, they do. When they say they’ll deliver on time – they do and I want to give an example of that…
I bought a battery grip through the guys at the best price on the web (As with everything else I’ve purchased through them) but they didn’t have the spare batteries in stock… As soon as they did, I was contacted and told that they were shipped and given a tracking number. This is a battery coming from HK to the UK… Credit to DHL *see below*
